Just Money: Banking as if Society Mattered - What is Banking?

Many of us taking this course have a bank account, use a credit or debit card, have taken out a loan, or we may even work at a bank or in the financial industry.  Despite the fact that we interact with money and some form of banking on a daily basis, how well do we really understand the basics of banking?  

The following video will help illustrate what banks are before we take a deeper dive into Module 1.

My experience

I think it allows me to learn a lot. Through this course, I can better understand what the bank is doing. But because it is taught in English, I can’t understand some words that are difficult for me. This situation made me encounter difficulties when using the website to learn. So I think if I want to learn new knowledge, I won't use this website. But if it is to review the knowledge I have learned, perhaps this website is a good choice, because it can also enhance my English ability by the way.
